Vegan Supper Club Series: All-Star, Ultimate Tour

Our Best Supper Club Courses of the Past Five Supper Club Seasons, chosen by you!
This is our first supper club in our new location and we want to kick off the season with a bang, so whether you’ve been meaning to get out to one of our Supper Clubs or you are a monthly regular, this is the dinner not to miss!
Note: Since this menu was chosen for it’s ‘awesomeness’ and not necessarily paired together in a balanced manner, portions will be adjusted to ensure you leave full but not hating yourself!

Amuse Course: Whipped Cashew Cream Cheese and Hickory Smoked ‘Lox’ on top of a Scallion and Potato Scone (January 2017, Vegan Robbie Burns Day)
Introduction Course: King Oyster Mushroom Rockefeller on Creamy Cauliflower Mac and Cheese Gumbo (March 2017, Mardi Gras an Ode to NOLA)
Intermezzo: Niagara Peaches and Cream Granita with Fresh Mint Chiffonade (September 2016, Tout Cru)
Main Course: “Fried Chicken, Buttermilk Biscuits & Southern Sausage Gravy”Pulled Jackfruit Croquette served on a fluffy Coconut Fat Biscuit with Peppercorn-Vegan Sausage White Gravy (March 2017, Mardi Gras Ode to NOLA)
Dessert: Banana Foster Pt IISeared Chocolate and Banana Cornbread topped with Cinnamon Beignet, Butter Rum Pudding and Chocolate Ganache (March 2017, Mardi Gras Ode to NOLA)
Muskoka Maple Coffee, Assorted Sloane Teas, along with Sparkling and Flat Water are included.

The event begins at 7pm and dinner will start at 7:20pm or when most of the guests have arrived.

No alcohol will be served onsite; if you choose to bring wine/beer, don’t drink and drive.

IMPORTANT NOTES: Due to the nature of these events modifications for allergies are often not possible. This menu will feature cashews, gluten & corn. All items regardless of description are vegan.

{About Vegan Supper Clubs}
We host a monthly themed Vegan Supper Club in our New Tasting Room located at 245 Jane Street.
What’s a Supper Club you ask? Think of it as an informal dinner party meant to encourage guests to mingle, share and celebrate food. Events are 19+, complimentary sparkling and flat water will be provided. Here’s a sneak peak of what to expect or check out our Supper Club Gallery.
Are they always Vegan? Yes. We want people to feel included in the discussion around food, culture and the arts and feel making these events vegan will allow more guests to participate. We also do special Gluten-Free editions a few times a year.

{About Urban Acorn LTD.}
Just like an idea, acorns begin small with the hopes of becoming something big, strong and meaningful. This was the initial push behind Urban Acorn LTD. a Flexiatarian Catering company founded by husband & wife team Marie and Chef Daniel Holloway.

Inspired by art, music, and using food as a dialogue for social change, Urban Acorn wants to encourage people to broaden their understanding of food and each other with the hopes of building stronger communities.

Their mostly plant-based ‘Flexitarian’ approach to cuisine, allows them to seamlessly create menus to both omnivores and vegans. Their philosophy is simple, they believe food should unite, not divide people.
