Supper Club: Mediterranean Magic by Matt Lazin

Amateur chef, bartender, personal trainer and devoted foodie Matt Lazin returns to The Dep with a luscious vegetarian dinner party celebrating the colours and flavours of the Mediterranean, accented with fresh herbs from his organic garden.
Mezze — 3 dips: garlicky hummus, spicy harissa roasted red pepper dip, and creamy goats milk labneh with fresh chives, served with a selection of fresh market vegetables, pickled turnips and warm Persian barbari bread.
Salad — Decadent greek salad made with green, yellow, orange & red peppers, romaine lettuce hearts, sliced cucumber, tomatoes, red onion, kalamata olives, greek oregano, unfiltered extra virgin olive oil & real Greek sheep’s milk feta cheese. Served with grilled pita.(Feta will be held for vegan plates)
Mains — Medley of sautéed mushrooms & onions with golden sage & rosemary.
Roasted potatoes, carrots, zucchini & black olives with olive oil, mediterranean sea salt, fresh ground black pepper & rosemary, and a side of lebanese-style minted tzatziki.
Roasted green & yellow beans with toasted sesame seeds, red wine vinegar & olive oil.
Spanish paprika & garlic-infused brown rice with Italian flat leaf parsley & scallions, served with a garlic & lemon butter sauce. (held for vegan plates)
Dessert — French vanilla bean ice cream (vegetarian) dusted with cinnamon, drizzled with unpasteurized wildflower & clover honey, garnished with halva & roasted pistachios. Served with Moroccan mint tea.
