When it comes to summer parties and entertaining you want that extra edge to bring a meal to life. This class on August 11th, will leave you with some new ideas to round out your menus and complete any meal.
Sample menu: Quinoa Tabule Salad, Edamame Soba Noodle Salad, Green Beans Almondine, Black Bean Burgers, Sweet Potato Fries.
OR..Join Marni beginning on Thursday, June 30th for all 4 weeks to learn how to create fresh and fun summer recipes including: delicious salads, smoothies, appetizers, dinners, and desserts! You will become an expert on how to quench your thirst and hunger while beating the heat in this 4 week cooking class series or join us for an individual class!
Week 1: Appetizers and Dips
June 30th, 2016 7:00pm – 9:00pm
Everybody likes to nibble whether it’s finger foods, dips or snack! Bring these dishes to a party or enjoy them at home – you can always use just a few more recipes to keep things fresh.
Sample menu: Mango Rice Paper Rolls, Green Pea Guacamole, White Bean and Dill Dip, Spinach Almond Patties, Sunflower Seed Nori Rolls
Week 2: Sensational Summer Salads
July 14th, 2016 7:00pm – 9:00pm
Build the freshest summer salads – not just cold salads with lettuce. Here we will be making some some delightful salads using grains, noodles and other fresh ingredients to make unique combinations.
Sample menu: Citrus Wild Rice Salad, Apple Fennel Salad, Kale Slaw Salad, Waldorf Salad, Pasta Salad.
Week 3: Juices and Smoothies
July 28th, 2016 7:00pm – 9:00pm
Get hydrated with Juices & Smoothies. Stay refreshed and light and learn about the differences between juices and smoothies. Get ready to sip. Bottoms up!
Sample Menu: Green Juice, Beet, Carrot Apple Juice, Chocolate Super Smoothie, Tropical Mango Smoothie, Pink Ginger Lemonade.
