{Late Morning} Breakfast Club: August

Have you ever come to one of our supper clubs and thought ‘It would be great if Urban Acorn did a brunch?!’ Well you’re in luck!

We’re hosting a 4-course daytime Breakfast/Brunch menu complete with Alchemy Pickle Virgin Kombucha Sangria and Brewed Coffee. Tickets also include a $10 voucher that can be used at our storefront market or for future supper clubs.

Menu

Introduction Course: Basket of Pastries with House-Made Preserves and Vegan Cheeze

Second Course: “AVO BREAKO” Sliced-Halved Organic Avocado served with Shredded Yukon Gold Potato Hash, Charred Poblano, Slice of Lime and Ti Malice Sauce

Main Course: Breakfast Sandwiches with Oat Sausage, Scrambled “Faux-Egg”, Cashew Cheese and sliced Tomatoes

Dessert: French Toast Bread Pudding topped with Mullberry Compote and Whipped Coconut

Alchemy Pickle Virgin Kombucha Sangria and Brewed Coffee are included.

The event begins at 11am and Brunch will start at 11:15am or when most of the guests have arrived.

No alcohol will be served onsite; if you choose to bring Sparkling Wine/Baileys, don’t drink and drive.

{About Vegan Breakfast Clubs}

During the Fall/Winter/Spring Season we host a monthly themed Vegan Supper Club in our second level loft kitchen; The Breakfast Club is an extension of this series with an emphasis on decadent food & Desserts.

What’s a Supper/Breakfast Club you ask? Think of it as an informal Brunch/Dinner party meant to encourage guests to mingle, share and celebrate food. Events are 19+, complimentary sparkling and flat water will be provided. Here’s a sneak peak of what to expect or check out our Supper Club Gallery.

Are they always Vegan? Yes. We want people to feel included in the discussion around food, culture and the arts and feel making these events vegan will allow more guests to participate. We also do special Gluten-Free editions a few times a year.

{About Urban Acorn LTD.}

Just like an idea, acorns begin small with the hopes of becoming something big, strong and meaningful. This was the initial push behind Urban Acorn LTD. a Flexiatarian Catering company founded by Chef Daniel Holloway and his partner Marie Fitrion.

Inspired by art, music, and using food as a dialogue for social change, Urban Acorn wants to encourage people to broaden their understanding of food and each other with the hopes of building stronger communities.

Their mostly plant-based ‘Flexitarian’ approach to cuisine, allows them to seamlessly create menus to both omnivores and vegans. Their philosophy is simple, they believe food should unite, not divide people
