MEDIA RELEASE April 29, 2022 $40,300 OTF Grant Allows Pro-Vegan Organization to Adapt to New Challenges Toronto, ON – In 2021, the Toronto Vegetarian Association (TVA) received a $40,300 Resilient Communities Fund grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) to update its digital presence and adapt to the changing landscape caused by the pandemic. The project will be done in time for the TVA’s 77th Anniversary on June 19th and will provide enhanced experiences for veg-curious people at the TVA’s events going forward, as well as visitors to the organization’s website. “Congratulations to the Toronto Vegetarian Association on receiving the Resilient Communities Fund,” said Jessica Bell, MPP for University-Rosedale. “Toronto Vegetarian Association has been a community resource since 1945.
