I’m no stranger to Vegan Danish Bakery, and have probably written several profiles about them before. But every time I go, they seem to have new surprises that I just had to share with you!

This beautiful, rather fancy bakery, will wow you with their huge selection of decorative cakes, cupcakes, and of course danishes. But having had the pleasure of enjoying those items in the past, on my recent two visits I opted to try all new items!

On the first visit, I had an apple turnover that was topped with giant crystals of sugar and a vanilla glaze, and a classic chocolate croissant. That may sound like enough but how could I possibly resist the gigantic, gooey pecan caramel sticky bun staring back at me from the case? We were getting our items to go, and the owner kindly let us know we should warm the items in the oven before eating them. Was she ever right! That sticky bun fresh out of the oven was the perfect way to cozy up on a cold winter night.

Last weekend, I was so lucky to be back again and this time walked in to discover two items I have not seen anywhere before! Tiramisu cheesecake and…wait for it…a Boston cream croissant! It was devoured too quickly to photograph but imagine a gigantic croissant, filled to the brim with a creamy custard, and covered in a smooth chocolate ganache.

Better yet, don’t just imagine it. Try it in real life!
