Canada’s Largest Vegan Festival Returns for 36th Year
Headline Speakers, Cooking Demos from top chefs, Vegan Vendors and More, all in one space at the first virtual edition of Veg Food Fest, September 11-13, 2020
TORONTO – Canada’s largest vegan festival, Veg Food Fest, is back for its 36th year from September 11-13, 2020. Despite the impact of COVID-19, we are excited to host our usual suspects of hungry and excited attendees accustomed to shopping and learning during the Veg Food Fest weekend. We will use our customized and interactive platform to feature recorded and live speakers, cooking demos and vegan books for a 100% vegan online experience.
The festival will again be free to access to vendors, speakers and cooking demos. You can expect many of your favourite Veg Food Fest vendors to be there including the widely popular Apiecalypse Now, as well as great speakers such as Dr. Michael Greger, Hallie Thomas, MP Nathaniel Erskine-Smith and the Black Vegans of Toronto, and more.
A full list of vendors and speakers will be released in the coming weeks.
While the festival will not be held at Harbourfront Centre this year due to COVID-19 public health restrictions, attendees can still try new and exciting foods from their favourite vendors, and meet up safely with friends in parks and patios all over the city.
