Toronto Vegetarian Association Launches Mobile App: The Veg Guide
Over the past few months TVA has been building something new, to help people discover veg-friendly businesses and events. Through the support of donors, members, and passionate volunteers, we’ve built a new Mobile App, called the Veg Guide. 
Here are a few details on the App:
- When you launch the App, you’ll enter the restaurant directory. It will always sort by proximity, with businesses supporting TVA featuring photos and more detailed descriptions.
- If you pull down the Directory, you will get a search bar that will allow you to search for specific businesses. Unfortunately partial searches don’t work at this time. Only the closest 25 businesses will be listed and mapped. You can expand the list by refreshing from the bottom.
- Please help us expand the list by submitting any businesses that are missing through the App.
- It is built on a platform that does have some limitations, which we are trying to work around.
In the coming months, we’ll be exploring additional features, so stay tuned for that and other exciting activities from TVA.
