Are you planning to enter the Vegan Bake-Off and want to test out your recipe? This is your excuse to break out those recipes that you’ve had bookmarked forever, but haven’t had an occasion to make. It’s your time to experiment with the new, change up something familiar, or perfect your show stopping bake-off creation! Veggies of Halton-Peel

Wednesday, March 23rd at 7 pm, the Veggies of Halton-Peel will get together at Maro’s Bistro (135 Kerr Street, in Oakville). They have a vegetarian/vegan friendly menu that they describe as “Home-style Middle Eastern, with a twist”.

TVA Reads

TVA Reads gets together on Wednesdays at 6:30 for a vegan potluck and book discussion at the Centre for Social Innovation on Bathurst in the Annex. On Wednesday, March 23 they are reading Consider the Lobster by David Foster Wallace. RSVP to and join them on Facebook to learn more.

Plant-Based Health Professionals

Are you a healthcare professional or student who’d like to connect with other like-minded colleagues? This group is for clinicians, students and administrative staff from all specialties. They meet for dinner in Toronto and based on group members’ interest and availability, are planning to host a journal/book club to talk about relevant research studies and/or books.
