Veggies of Halton-Peel

Saturday February 20th at 5:30 pm, the Veggies of Halton-Peel will get together at Brar’s Restaurant (199 Advance Blvd, Brampton). This vegetarian restaurant has a large selection of items in their buffet and vegan items are well marked.  They are also on the TVA veg card program! Please RSVP to haltonpeel@veg.ca to confirm your attendance!

Plant-Based Health Professionals

The Plant-Based Health Professionals group is for professionals & students working within the healthcare field. Their first dinner meet-up will be on Tuesday, February 9th at 6:30, at Vegetarian Haven (17 Baldwin Street). RSVP to pbhp@veg.ca.

Veggie Movie Group

The Veggie Movie Group will go to see the documentary The Messenger on February 27th, at the Carlton Theatre. The screening begins at 6:45 pm. The Messenger is an artful investigation into the causes of songbird mass depletion and the compassionate people who are working to turn the tide. The film takes viewers on a visually stunning, emotional journey revealing how the issues facing birds also pose daunting implications for our planet and ourselves.

It is recommended you purchase your tickets in advance if you plan to attend.

Vegetarians of High Park
