Durham Veg

On Saturday, February 8th, Durham Veg has arranged for vegan chef, Gabriella Budani to prepare a North African-inspired multi-course meal as part of Hot Roots Festival.  For $25, DurhamVeg gets a private room and dedicated kitchen and chef for the following exotic 3-course meal:  1) Moroccan Peanut Soup, 2) Fake Chicken Tagine with Olives and Preserved Lemon served with couscous, 3) Segmented Blood Orange with a spiced cashew cream.

For $15, you could have a “taster version” of the above with smaller portions. Both of these include coffee/tea as well as the specialty drink being mint tea.  Registration and pre-payment required through the Nourished-on-the-Go website. Look for “Moroccan Dinner”.
