Are you a plant-powered runner? Or do you just love to go out for a long walk on a beautiful autumn morning? Want to spread the word that vegetarians are strong and healthy?
Then join the Toronto Vegetarian Team at the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon on Sunday, October 20th! You can sign up to walk or run the 5k, 1/2 marathon or full marathon to raise funds to support TVA.
Everyone on the team receives a special discounted charity registration rate.

Plus our top three fundraisers will win fantastic prizes such as a gift certificate for a cooking class from Marni Wasserman, a $100 gift certificate to Fresh, a mail delivery subscription to VegNews Magazine, Vega products, veggie coconut “bacon” from Know Thy Food, track passes to Monarch Park Stadium and more!
Our goal is to raise $13,000 for TVA to expand our outreach program, distribute more vegetarian starter kits, and bring in more high profile speakers to the Annual Vegetarian Food Festival!
