Today John and Sarah recapped the Totally Fabulous Vegan Bake-Off which took place last Saturday, Sarah attended and had the opportunity to try baked goods from 6 different categories. Valentine’s Day is next week, and to celebrate Hogtown VeganSadie’s DineRawlicious and Vegetarian Haven are offering prix fixe menus on the 14th.

Directory updates were also mentioned including new Vegan options in Kensington Market at Samadhi Tea and Thomas Lavers Cannery and Deli. There is also a new vegan and gluten free lunch and breakfast spot in the concourse beneath First Canadian Place, Kupfert and Kim: Meatless and Wheatless. To make it easier for those who are on the go to access good vegan food, Veggie Paradise is offering vegan and gluten free meals to go at various natural food stores around the city; and Mama Earth Organics offers a delivery service for organic fruits and vegetables to be delivered right to your door. More good news for those looking for a quick vegan meal, Pizzaiolo is now offering Daiya cheese on their vegan pizzas.

The Resource Center will be closed next Saturday, but will be open as usual the following weekend.
