Sherry writes about Cake & Loaf is a vegan-friendly place in Hamilton. “I think it is a great option and the only place I know that I can pick up fresh prepared food after work and enjoy a healthy dinner without going to Harvey’s for a veggie burger. The baked goods rotate, so they will have a different vegan muffin every day, and 1-3 vegan salads, plus typically a choice of vegan focaccia and vegan bread. Here are some of their vegan offerings:
  • Vegan Muffins include pumpkin coconut, banana blueberry, banana chocolate chip, carrot raisin
  • Vegan Curried quinoa and chick pea pot pie
  • Vegan salads include sweet potato salad, quinoa salad, pasta salad (all with fresh herbs)

Closing Down

Sorry to say that Boutique Viva Vegan store in Montreal is closing down. “We wanted to touch base with you because after almost 5 years in business in Eastern Canada, we are ready to pursue other dreams.
