Toronto Starch Solution Potluck Lunch
March 18 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pmDonation appreciated
Have you or someone you know been diagnosed with a chronic health condition and started on a lifetime of medications? Would you like to improve your condition or even reverse it?
The Starch Solution way of eating comes from the work of Dr John McDougall who promises, “This approach has been effective even when all other medical therapies have failed. Patients whose doctors have given up on them – who are told there are no more drugs or operations that might save them – have restored their health using this singular approach.”
If this miraculous treatment was a new pill, everyone would want to be on it, to the unbridled delight of pharmaceutical companies everywhere. Fortunately for us, it’s not another pill. It’s a simple, affordable lifestyle that anyone can adopt using information that is available for free from Dr McDougall’s website or your public library.
It is based on a diet of whole plant foods, excluding all animal products and all oils, with the addition of exercise as simple as a daily walk.
Sound too good to be true? Join us for good food and fellowship and learn more on Sunday, April 15.
Please bring a dish to share made from a recipe on Dr McDougall’s website or fatfreevegan or a recipe of your own that contains no animal products and no added oil of any kind. Plates of fruit or vegs are always welcome. We appreciate having recipes written out for those with food allergies and, also, for sharing great recipes!
A small cash donation is appreciated to make a contribution to Don Heights Unitarian Congregation for allowing us to use the space.
18 Wynford Drive, (Don Mills & Eglinton)
Parking on Sundays is free.
