Join us this Earth hour for journey to transform the inner environment with traveling monk Devamrita Swami. He is the founder of the institute of sustainability and the visionary behind several eco-farm projects around the world and will inspire us to a whole new perspective on how to build a healthier planet by looking within.

Earth Hour – an hour that brings people of all ages and backgrounds around the world together to sound a clear call-to-action for our most pressing global challenge: climate change. Switching off the lights for an hour lets take the time to turn on the inner scanners and ask ourselves some tough questions about the world we live in? Of all things we could do for the environment – what is the most effective?

Global warming, melting polar caps, disappearing species, depleting ozone, receding rainforests and fast growing deserts – which problem should we deal with first ? Will we find the answer to these questions at conferences and seminars discussing strategies to reduce emission or change environmental law or do we have to look deeper and closer than that?

Add techniques of meditation and yoga to your environmental toolkit. Enjoy a delicious vegan dinner and deep discussion to candle lights – make it a memorable earth hour.

About the speaker Devamrita Swami

Devamrita Swami is a monk whose profound dedication to the spiritual path spans four decades. It was in 1972 that he first came in contact with the ancient wisdom of the East. His attraction to this transcendental knowledge was immediate and the effect profound; though a graduate of Yale University, he discovered that this would be the start of his real education. Since that time, through constant spiritual practice Devamrita Swami has matured in his understanding of these ancient truths and now spends his time sharing his realizations with others.
