Knives and Vegetables
Cory Vitiello is a Canadian born Chef. He began cooking at age fifteen, starting his own catering business out of his family home. Cory owns and operates the award winning “The Harbord Room” and sister restaurant “THR & Co.”
Cory was voted the best new chef in Toronto in 2009 by Now Magazine. Conde Nast Magazine named the restaurant one of it’s world-wide hot-spots. EnRoute Magazine called it one of the best new restaurants in Canada and Toronto Life Magazine named his burger the Best in Toronto.
Vitiello’s a graduate of the world renowned Stratford Chef School and did his apprentice at Scaramouche Restaurant in Toronto. Some of Chef Cory’s other career highlights include his gig as Sous Chef at Cecconi’s, in Melbourne, Australia (2003) and Chef de Cuisine, at Toronto’s The Drake Hotel (2004-2007).
