Meatless Mondays

Meatless Mondays is a growing, international movement of individuals, environmental, health and animal welfare associations, businesses and even governments with a shared goal of reducing global meat consumption. Visit meatlessmondays.ca to get started

The Annual Vegetarian Food Fair

The Veggie Challenge

This free publication printed each September is distributed city-wide. It lists restaurants, stores, cooking classes and more. Visit the online Vegetarian Directory for more

Our Resource Centre

Over 500 titles of books and cookbooks, plus magazines, DVDs and videos available for viewing or loan. There is also a variety of free literature and one of the largest selections of vegetarian books for sale in Toronto – over 100 titles.

The Resource Centre is located 17 Baldwin St on the second floor, and is open to the public on Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons. Visit the Resource Centre online for more

Outreach

We offer speakers for schools and groups, provide interviews and information to the media, and set up tables at schools, offices, malls and parks where we participate in health and environmental events. We also exhibit at several large events including the Yoga Show and the Whole Life Expo.

Support our programs & services

Charitable contributions fund all of TVA’s programs – from printing the Vegetarian Directory to purchasing books and videos for the TVA Resource Centre.  By making a donation, you can support these programs and help people make healthier, greener, more peaceful choices.
