Podcast 240: Merry Chimpmas!
Saturday, 17 December 2011

Today Liam and Lisa O discuss the good news for chimpanzees this week - the United States NIH decided to stop using them for government funded research. While the move isn't perfect, it's a step in the right direction.

Liam suggests volunteering at the Toronto Humane Society as a dog-walker as a great way to spend time helping animals and being around dogs if you can't adopt a dog of your own.

There are lots of holiday deals going on through the end of the year! Check them out here.

Liam recommends an easy and delicious method of quesadilla-making, and Lisa recommends The Vegan Stoner for other quick and tasty recipes. She also highly recommends the peanut butter blondie from Rise Above Bakery, a new 100% vegan bakery/cafe in St. Catharines.

Today's podcat was an animal-testing-free 33 minutes.   Listen Now!
