Decadent organic desserts include massive almond cookies and chocolate brownies that are baked in solar-energy ovens. Take-out containers and cutlery are 100% biodegradable.      They offer take-out and a peaceful eating area with several tables and some seats along the window. For take-out they use biodegradable containers, or you may bring your own.

~~New (Feb. 2008): Magic Oven's latest location is a full service intimate restaurant with added appetizers and organic wine and beer. Their trademark gourmet pizzas, pastas and salads are still the focus, with 12 pizzas on the menu listed under "Vegan & Vegetarian" – many with organic ingredients and alternative grains. The new appetizers include: Green-Tea infused Organic Tofu Fingers; Garlic Steamed Greens; Edamame; Spinach, artichoke and goat cheese dip with spelt crisps; and more. There is a weekend brunch menu and a $10 lunch special everyday.

~~Jenny reports that she ordered a “very tasty tofu sandwich. The organic tofu was coated in nutritional yeast, then fried with oregano. Yum!”
    A review at sweetspot.ca raves about the: "Brie, Apple and Basil Sandwich ($6), and the heavenly combination of Seared Tofu, Avocado and Greens with Dijon mayo ($6)." They always have a pizza, pasta and salad option, and several items are vegan. They are still supplying Wanda's pies and have started baking some of their own. The front opens up completely during the summer.
