Happy March!

Winter’s end is in our sights! We’re almost there! In the meantime, there’s quite a few new Veg Guide additions for you to peruse.

New Veg Businesses:

Community

343 Kerr Street, Oakville.

This resto in Kerr Village just opened last week, and we’ve heard nothing but great things about it. I’d particularly like to try the truffle gnocchi, or the Phish fillet. In fact, a roadtrip to Oakville is definitely in the cards soon for this place!

Papyrus

337 Danforth Avenue, Toronto.

Danforth Avenue is so hot right now! We’ve got another great option between Broadview and Pape; this time delicious Egyptian Vegetarian food! Everything at Papyrus is Vegetarian, and most are vegan. They serve up traditional Egyptian food in a casual setting and I can’t wait to try it.

Samantha Mirarchi, MSW, RSW

15 Wertheim Court, Suite #511, Richmond Hill

Because self care is just as important as food, and finding a therapist that gets you is super important; we’re excited about this new edition to the Veg Guide: Samantha Mirarchi! She is a Registered Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist practicing individual, couples, and family therapy. AND, she’s been vegan for more than five years, so she knows about the problems that vegans might face. She also offers free 15 minute phone consultations, if you’re unsure that therapy is for you.

VEGANLY Vitamins

www.VeganlyVitamins.com

Urban Herbivore Annex Food Hall

384 Bloor St W., Toronto.

This new food hall on Bloor near Spadina has the new third location of TO favourite Urban Herbivore. Stop in for a quick bite and one of their signature bowls, sandwiches, or yummy sweet treats!
