NEW SOCIAL GROUP! Toronto Veg Fitness

An athletics-oriented group for vegan, vegetarian, or veg-curious folks who want to connect with other like-minded individuals. Whether your passion lies in bodybuilding, cross fit, powerlifting, running, cycling, or a mix of everything, we welcome interest in all athletic pursuits.

If you are just starting out, join our group and learn how to begin working towards your fitness goals. If you are a seasoned pro, come share what you’ve learned through your past successes, and let’s not forget about those past failures. We all have the common ground of wanting to lead a more active life, explore our interest in fitness, and share our interest with others in the local plant-based community, so let’s get going!

Veggies of Hamilton-Burlington 

It’s time for another hike and lunch on Saturday, September 23rd. The hike will begin at Royal Botanical Gardens at 10 am, starting from York Rd near the Hopkins entrance to the Ray Lowes Tail, heading towards Bull’s Point Trail, to Marsh Walk, to lookout points, Captain Cootes Trail, then up towards the Arboretum to catch the Ray Lowes side trail (Pinetum Trail) back to the parking area. 7-8km loop.

Lunch will be at 12:15 at B-Love (29 King Street West, in Dundas). Please RSVP to hamiltonburlington@veg.ca by Fri. Sept. 22 at 12 noon to confirm your attendance.

TVA Reads

TVA Reads will meet to discuss Maus on September 27th at 6:45 pm. Depending on the weather, they may meet at CSI Annex, or in a local park. Email tvareads@veg.ca to RSVP or for more info.
