Meet and Greet with the TVA Social Groups at the 32nd Veg Food Fest!
This will be your chance to meet several of the TVA social group leaders and other regular attendees and find out more about the different social groups TVA has. Come by the Meet and greet with TVA social groups on Friday, September 9th at 6 pm at the 32nd Veg Food Fest. The groups will all meet up in the “Veg Out Zone” which is in Ontario Square, on the East side of the Harbourfront Centre. Look for the picnic tables!
On Wednesday, September 7th at 6:39 pm join us for a social gathering at The Lil Organic Kitchen located at 1618 Dundas St. E, Unit 3 in Whitby. This Organic Kitchen is pretty new to Durham Region and has a take-out like ordering style while providing a comfortable area to sit and socialize. There are many vegan and vegetarian options available

Vegetarians of High Park
Join Vegetarians of High Park for an autumn potluck on Saturday, September 17th from 6 to 8 pm. The potluck will be held in a members’ backyard near Jane and Bloor. The address will be sent to those that RSVP.
For the potluck, please bring a vegan dish (no meat, eggs, dairy, fish or honey) to share, as well as your own plate and utensils. No pressure for those who are shy about making a dish! You can always bring a drink or a simple store-bought dish like hummus and pitas, salsa and tortilla chips, or fruit for dessert!

Plant-Based Health Professionals
The next meet-up for the Plant-Based Healthcare Professionals group will be dinner on Tuesday September 27 at 6:30 pm at Vegetarian Haven at 17 Baldwin Street. E-mail firstname.lastname@example.org for more details, to RSVP, and to join their mailing list.
They are a group of professionals and students who are either working or studying within any healthcare-related discipline. Administrative/clerical professionals as well as clinicians are welcome. The purpose of the meetups is to connect with each other, learn about each other’s work and perspectives, and trade notes on effective promotion of plant-based vegan diets within healthcare.
