le commensal
I was completely surprised upon discovering there was a beautiful vegetarian restaurant so close to me everyday and I never even knew! (Note: We regret to inform Commensal is no longer entirely vegetarian).
Le Commensal is tucked away by Toronto City Hall, in the heart of downtown, just blocks from shopping centres, three universities, and the financial district. Well, you’ve got to know that when I did finally go, everything was perfect. This French-inspired restaurant serves up just what you need at breakfast, lunch, or dinner. A delicious buffet, neatly laid out, and impeccable quality. Vegan and gluten-free options are present, and the healthy cuisine here hits the spot.
I like to try a bit of everything, and there was barely space on my plate once I was through! Still, there’s much more for me to go back and sample. As well as delicious dishes, there are books in the cafe should the topic of diet and vegetarianism spark your interest.
The TVA discount of 10% is offered on your order of $10 and above, as well as fabulous other promos throughout the week. Monday was my lucky day, as on these days they help students out with their bills – just show your school ID and save. Bon appétit mesdames et messieurs 🙂
